  • Looking for maintenance and service advice

I'm having a problem with my 16.5 ft Alumacraft with a 40 HP Yamaha on it. The paint is bubbling on the back end of the boat. In talking to a few folks and doing some reading I think this is some kind of electrolysis problem that is resulting from some short in a ground wire. I don't have the time to troubleshoot it and need to get it in for a service to the motor also.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a mechanic or service place. I live in northern Charlottesville I would like to find a local place. I don't want to take it to Northern VA.

    Thanks.
