    +1 on what Larry said - hook up the charger and give the batts a good fill on the weekends when you don't run your boat. your batts will hold up all winter long.

      As far as the batteries, I have a 4 bank charger and I leave it plugged in at all times where I store it. The charger is a new promariner that kicks into trickle charge mode once the batteries hit like 13.2 volts or thereabouts. That was a condition of my storing it there, i.e., I get an electrical outlet and have a roof :) When you have a 1000 dollars in batteries, losing them to charging issues adds up quickly as I know all too well....

      I did learn a lesson last year though. 4 ft of snow can be too much for a metal carport that is rated for 2 ft......Carlos at High point replaced it with one rated for 4ft and fixed the boat for free.
