  • Where did everyone end up this season

Did you tag the buck you wanted? Did you get out enough?

I struggled to find buck after the middle of November and ended up with doe for the kitchen, but I'm happy.

This year went pretty well for us. I ended up getting my target buck (on Dec. 5th) for the year as well as another decent 6 pt. My son shot a button buck with his bow and a big doe on the last day. He also had an opportunity at another target back we had but wasn't able to get that one. He's still around and hopefully will be for next season.

I got out plenty. Not much during bow season, but muzzleloader and rifle I hunted a lot of days. Towards the end of the season, the rain and muddy conditions kept me out. Saw 4 deer the whole season. Not within range. Plenty though on my cameras at night.

I bow hunted a lot. Passed on a smaller eight point. I didn't see many deer during gun and muzzleloader seasons. Rain made it hard to get out. I finally killed a doe the other day. My bow season goes out on Thursday. I haven't seen a buck on camera in more than two months. I did have a group of bucks coming to me on New Years Eve, they got within about 50 yards, but some ducks got up off the creek and they turned and trotted away.
