So, the Claytor Lake crew ran a tourney on Philpott Sat. I caught them pretty good wed, so I figured, what the hey. Typical of me, they were just GONE. Struggled and only had 5 bites all day. caught 4 and broke one off.

16lb 15oz won it and 16/12 was second.

As usual, I'm a helluva a weekday fisherman, and stunk it up on the weekend.

LOL! I hate it when that happens. I got out for an hour or so yesterday just to run the boat. Saw quite a few boats out. WTs ranged from 38* at the state park ramp to 40.4* about half way down towards the dam. Water is still heavily stained.
