Not much of a report because I mainly ran the sled. Couldn't resist the temptation to test the new shoulder while I was out. Pleased to report it went well.

Recent rain has the lake stained from ~Peak Creek up. The further uplake you go the heavier the stain. I fished from Clapboard back down to the state park area. Clapboard was stained w/ ~2' of viz; water was ~normal vic the park. Managed a couple spots on spooks and a few knothead LM on flukes. Witnessed one of the most violent topwater strikes I've ever seen as a 12" spot tried to inhale a 6" spook. Too cool.

Saw 68.7* at the state park at launch; 71.3 in Clapboard; 73.4 vic the state park. Tons of bait in the creeks/coves I visited. Mayflies everywhere - bluegill are getting fat.

Apologize for lack of detail but I didn't fish much.

    peace,
    B
