Has anyone been fishing the bend lately? Ive been 3 times in a row and have not caught a fish. Just wondering if anyone else has had any success. That place is hard to beat in March. Starting to wonder if all the fishing pressure has starting to affect it.

Never fished that part of the Doah. Is it a pretty safe area for boating, or are there a lot of rocks and stuff that could take off a lower unit?Comment

THere is plenty of things to hit at the bend, Down from the ramp around the corner the whole left side is a big flat. Numerous trees on the flat and in the middle near the channel. Some sticking out of the water and some are not. There is also a rock shelf down towards the damn. It will take your lower unit out. Use to be a motor in the water you could see that was knocked off...lol Up from the ramp is pretty smooth sailing but there are a couple of trees that can ruin your day that way too.sigpicsigpicComment
