I had a open after noon so i called my buddy and we headed to Front Royal. As i left the house it started snowing. Got to the ramp and it was hammering down. I was excited because I've always read smallmouth get turned on during snow. Travis was convinced we weren't going to catch nothing. Got to the spot and started with the jerkbait. I threw it for around 30 minutes with nothing. In that time Travis had boated 2 and lost 1 on the ned rig. So i knew what i had to do and tied one on. We caught 9 in about 2.5 hours until we couldn't take our hands freezing any longer. It was a good first smallmouth trip of the year and a day i will never forget.

Thanks guys. The ned is stupid looking it is painful to fish and gets hung up constantly but if you can get past all that it flat out catches smallmouth. I caught my pb on the doha 2 falls back of 4.10lbs on oneOriginally posted by Gsniper View PostComment

You can fish at Egypt Bend fairly easily and the same at Riverton....Riverton you just have to be careful going under the second bridge and idle down to the main creek..easy peezyOriginally posted by Bryan 2 View PostMake VAO Great againComment
