Put in at Oak Grove right after daylight. Pulled in on the first bank and whacked three in 10 mins. Nothing huge, cookie cutter 2lb ers. Water temp was 48 around Hales ford and lower all the way up the Roanoke arm. 43 in Beaverdam. Managed to scratch out a total of 10, but my 5 fish bag would have probably been only about 14lb. Had one solid 4 plus LM. Caught all the fish on a float n fly and a 3" swimbait on a 1/4 leadhead. BEAUTIFUL day on the water. Warm and very little wind. Not a bad way to send out this crapshow known as 2020.
