  • Kayak Cart for the Sand

Half of where I kayak fish is down in some salt marshes in NC, and one thing i've realized is im getting to old to keep dragging my kayak through the sand. Plus I pack way too much stuff all the time. I bought the Sandtrackz cart wheels with the plan of buying the C-Tug kayak cart. But the more I looked at it, I didnt like all the plastic, but I also didnt like the price. The wheels were expensive enough. SO I bought an aluminum frame kayak cart off Amazon and scored when the wheels just barely fit. In total I saved a good $50 by not buying the Ctug kayak cart.

This the kayak cart I bought off Amazon - $43

These are the Sandtrackz - $85

I just throw a strap around the kayak to hold it to the cart, so dang easy hauling 800 pounds of crap from the truck to the water. The pin that came with the cart to keep the original wheels on, also works with the Sandtrackz.

Cause you never kill anything on the stand, other than time.

Good idea on the kayak cart. I've been contemplating getting one myself. Was looking at the Wildy cart, but 175.00 is a tough pill to swallow.

Looked at one of those Wildy carts the other day. Well made and some nice features just way too expensive.

The $43 cart is perfect for most surfaces, but the upgraded wheels for the sand was needed.

I use the C-Tug kayak cart and have the sand wheels....and they are definitely worth the money. My Coosa HD is over 90lbs when loaded up and way to heavy to carry and to expensive to drag all over. The C-Tug has been a great addition.
